3D CAD Drafter | City of Industry, CA

• Convert existing 2-dimensional CAD drawings to 3-dimensional parametric part models, assembly models, and 2-dimensional drawings using SolidWorks.
• Work with drawings of extrusion, sheet metal, structural fabrication, and welding parts and assemblies.
• Learn processes and capabilities of our manufacturing in order to be able to organize CAD files properly.
• Train and support new SolidWorks users.
• Interact with sales, engineering, and other departments when required for special projects.
• Support other departments as needed with 3-dimensional part and assembly layouts.
