Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, LLC., a family-owned 110-year-old company, is the long-term industry leader in refrigerated semi-trailers and North America’s fourth largest semi-trailer manufacturer.
The primary function of the Cost Estimator is to provide comprehensive estimates based on material and labors costs of our trailer. Cost Estimators process quote requests from the Sales Department which are tailored to our customers’ specifications.
They compile and verify material cost, weight, and labor; review Bills of Material and drawing packages. Cost Estimators consult with other departments including Sales, Drafting, Order Processing, Production and Purchasing. Cost Estimators complete the quote and present it to the Sales Department.
