Utility's Western Canada Dealership, Ocean Trailer Opens New Location

CITY OF INDUSTRY, Calif., May 29, 2013 – Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, the industry’s largest manufacturer of refrigerated trailers and a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, flatbeds, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers is pleased to announce the opening of Ocean Trailer’s new location in Delta, British Columbia.

Founded by the Keay family in 1981, Ocean Trailer is one of over 100 Utility independent dealerships across the Americas. Ocean Trailer recently completed construction on its 40-acre development in Delta, British Columbia. “We purchased the land over 7 years ago, but struggled with land and environmental permits,” said Sid Keay, President of Ocean Trailer. “We finally had clearance and now opened up in a very strategic location in Delta. This area is progressively in development with a new highway system and direct access to Vancouver’s largest port.”

The new location encompasses a building that is approximately 75,000 square-foot and is now Ocean Trailer’s head offices. The Company has over 200 employees within three other locations in Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg. The new Delta location is located at 9076 River Road in Delta, B.C. V4G 1B5.
