As part of the Maintenance team, you will be tasked to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to safety and maintenance systems and processes in the facility.
Job Responsibility:
Ability to troubleshooting, repair and maintain all plant electrical systems and equipment.
Understanding of circuit design, schematic drawings, and technical literature.
Experience with 480 volt, 3 phase
Understanding of electrical construction and code requirements.
Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical machinery desired.
Experience with drives and PLC’s a plus.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or graduation from trade/technical school preferred.
Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Manufacturing Engineering initiatives, various process improvement programs, and Capital Expenditure projects in our manufacturing plant.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop, evaluate, and design enhancements to existing tools and equipment used in Manufacturing by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication processes, assembly methods, tooling, materials, and production equipment capabilities.
Will analyze, develop, and implement a process to measure equipment reliability in order to identify improvement opportunities.
Will work with Maintenance to ensure proper machine and work center up time and preventative maintenance scheduled down time. Will manage various Capital Expenditure projects, including planning, installation, monitoring and control of the project.
Starting with 5S you will Identify, develop, implement, and monitor Manufacturing Engineering initiatives.
Will work with various process improvement ideas and programs to help develop a continuous improvement effort in the plant.
May need to use internal and external resources to assist with areas that require technical expertise.
May work on standardized work processes.
May be assigned one type of equipment/tooling/operation to become the expert for the company.
May have to work various shifts to accomplish the goal.

Able to weld mild steel, SST and aluminum.
Selects and set currents, determines rod size, selects electrode, and determines other variables according to job requirements.
Exercises care to obtain proper penetration, avoid burning, slag inclusion or other flaws. Some alloying of metals involved to help to obtain proper material strength.
Performs necessary routing and cleaning of defective areas prior to welding. Also grinds and blends after welding to meet blueprint specifications.
Must know how to look up and understand customer weld requirements, prior to starting job.
Must know and follow all departmental and company safety rules.
