Utility Trailer Manufactruing Company Responds to Katrina Disaster

CITY OF INDUSTRY, California – September 26, 2005 – Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company, a family-owned trailer manufacturing company with dealer locations and facilities in the South, responded to the hurricane relief effort with a donation of $250,000 and equipment to aid those affected by the natural disaster. The senior management of Utility Trailer responded quickly with a $250,000 donation to the American Red Cross for the specific purpose of the hurricane relief efforts. In addition, the company and its dealers loaned numerous 53′ trailers to Louisiana users and customers as well as sending a trailer load of water to the affected area. While Utility Trailer contributed to the relief effort it also encouraged its employees to become active donors as well through a special program established by the company to facilitate donations to the American Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund, the Salvation Army Hurricane Katrina Relief Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Division, and the United Way Hurricane Katrina Response Fund.
