Utility Trailer Sales of NW Arkansas Expands

August 15, 2005 – Utility Trailer Manufacturing Company – a leading manufacturer of dry freight vans, flatbeds, refrigerated vans, and Tautliner® curtainsided trailers – is pleased to announce the facility expansion of one of their valued dealers – Utility Trailer Sales of NW Arkansas.

Utility Trailer Sales of NW Arkansas began as an offshoot of the Utility Tri-State dealership in Tulsa, Oklahoma back in 1998. It provided a much-needed operation for transportation companies traveling the Interstate 40 corridor and quickly became a trusted, popular dealer known for their expertly trained employees and personalized service. To keep up with the demand and to enable continued growth, the dealership opted for an expansion of facilities. The newly expanded Alma, Arkansas facility added over 100,000 square feet of space and opened in February 2005. It’s set to provide customers with top-notch service, parts, paint and bodywork. As an additional benefit to customers, the facility offers a rental and lease division, as well as a new waiting lounge area for customers to occupy while trailers are in service.

The Trailer Sales department boasts more than 10 acres of parking and carries a large selection of Utility reefers, dry vans and flatbed trailers. Along with that portion of the expansion, the Parts and Service department have new additions as well. The Parts department has grown their in-stock inventory to over $600,000, increasing availability of parts and reducing wait time. They’ve also increased their personnel in Parts in order to supply customers with the highest level of customer service. The service department now has nine bays located inside the expansive facility and nine covered bays located outside, which enables more repairs and service and quicker turnaround time. Additional mechanics and trailer re-builders have also been added to the staff in order to improve quality and speed of service. Complimenting these improvements, the Arkansas facility features a full-service body shop and 60-foot paint booth.

The major overhaul was well worth the year of hard work, because the region is now equipped with one of the friendliest, most impressive facilities in the nation. This expansion reflects the ongoing commitment to customer service by Utility’s dealers throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
